I love that hotel but was soooo sad when they closed Steakhouse 55. That was where we would celebrate our anniversary whenever we were at Disneyland.

The bing bong one is my favourite as well, and my husband makes fun of me because that's the balloon I always want to sit in. When we went last it was shut down, so if it's shut down in August I might cry. Lol

Hi Lisaaa :) Absolutely Beautifull! I like the cute little Disneyland Hotel a bunch with a cherry on top. Look at Mickey under the umbrella and the palm trees Strolling around found a nice spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The lush vegetation is spectacular. What a nice quiet place to look into those tender eyes for a long time. A little park now. FYI I see plenty of room back there on that hellacious attraction - the international beloved Matterhorn. Lean back baby. "Shocking to the system" F Yeah! Back at the Villa :) Home sweet home Dessert first. I'll take another Dole Whip with rum before the other dessert. Can you do that thing you did before the other thing. Room service in a few hours

That little space outside Trader Joe’s with the umbrellas and fireplace is so chill and relaxing. Such a gem. They also have hula dancing every so often. Although, maybe that’s been cut with all the other entertainment😩

I got attached to the Matterhorn when I rode right as the fireworks were going on. From then on, Matterhorn has a sweet spot in my heart with lovely memories. Lol

First off love the ears. Those honestly are probably some of the best ears i've seen. Also, Matterhorn shares an anniversary with the Monorail and the Submarine voyage all opened on the same day. Always like looking in the memorabilia Case at the Disneyland hotel. I happen to have a few of the items in that case, like the back scratcher, the map from splash mountain from 1989 ,couple of pins. Maybe a few other things.. I've been collecting Disney things 40 years.

Those Matterhorn ears are so unique! Really love them. Are they official Disney merch and if so when and where did you get them? Super enjoyable vlog. Felt like I had made the 7 hour drive from NorCal to enjoy the warm warm day and cool cool refreshments with you! ❤

I love the Disneyland Hotel! I hopefully will be there in February! Wish I was there now! I really want the plastic cup. Matterhorn is my favorite! I asked on Facebook to see if any of my friends were going to Disneyland and could pick me up one, but no one is going in June 😫. They need to sell them online!

Totally agree about the vibe at the hotel. The music, the smells, the palm trees, the quiet places to sit (the nice bathrooms too) and of course Trader Sam’s!!!

Hi Lisa , great tribute to the Matterhorn I'm glad you did not lose your ears on the ride. My mom back in the early 70's lost her wig on that ride lol . Very funny memory for us...
